In this year\u2019s season, the Wildkogel-Arena<\/a> prepared a\u00a0new winter hiking trail<\/a>, programs for kids, a\u00a0Family Fun Arena<\/a> with a\u00a0fun slope and a\u00a0Familypark, interesting attractions<\/a> and traditionally the longest floodlit sled run<\/a> in the world<\/strong> for its visitors. The sled run has even been entered in the Guinness World Records book. You can reach a\u00a0speed of up to 50\u00a0km\/h and enjoy a\u00a0breath-taking run lasting for up to 40\u00a0minutes.<\/p>\n

Investment<\/h2>\n

This area is highly sought after not only by tourists, but also by investors. Developers respond to the growing demand by constructing new projects with apartments for private owners intended for further lease<\/a>. According to the Austrian statistical office<\/a>, commercial holiday apartments<\/strong> have the most dynamic growth<\/strong> of all accommodation facilities in Austria.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the winter season (November 2018), the number of overnight stays in this type of real estate grew by 29.7%<\/strong>, while 5* and 4* hotels only grew by 6.2%. A\u00a0total of 138.41 million overnight stays was recorded in Austria from January to November 2018, which is a\u00a0growth by 3.3% compared to the same period in 2017.<\/p>\n
