Record Number of Tourists<\/h2>\n

Increasing numbers of tourists are heading to the Austrian Alps, a\u00a0trend highlighted by last year\u2019s ski season. Statistics Austria<\/a> recorded 49\u00a0million overnight stays from November last year to February of this year, representing a\u00a0record growth of 5.7% compared with the previous year. \u201cThe greatest increase of interest in accommodations was for commercially rented apartments, by almost 13\u00a0%,\u201d specified Jan Rejcha of Rellox, which specializes in sales of real estate abroad.<\/p>\n

New apartments are being built in attractive resorts, ensuring high occupation rates in both the summer and winter seasons. First-rate amenities and luxurious hotel facilities and services are a\u00a0given. Which interesting developments are current on sale?<\/p>\n

Neukirchen am Grossvenediger<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

This is a\u00a0new development of luxurious and comfortable apartments in an attractive location just a\u00a0few steps from the cable car. The project includes a\u00a0total of 45\u00a0apartments and 8\u00a0penthouses priced from EUR 562\u00a0800 excluding VAT<\/strong>. All owners and guests will be offered 4* hotel services – luxurious wellness with indoor and outdoor pools and several saunas, fitness, massages, restaurants, breakfast service, reception, etc. Apartments are for sale to private ownership; however, the owner of the property is obliged to this rent the property commercially. The apartment owner receives an attractive rental yield. Completion of the project is expected in December 2020.<\/p>\n

Ehrwald<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Currently, 4* apartments with 1\u00a0\u2013 4\u00a0bedrooms are under construction near the Zugspitze glacier in the alpine town of Ehrwald, priced from EUR 312,500 excluding VAT<\/strong>. The resort includes a\u00a0restaurant, fitness center, wellness and a\u00a0pool. Completion is planned for May 2019.\u00a0\u201cThe anticipated yield on rental is 4.3 % of the purchase price of the property, after deduction of operating expenses and before taxes,\u201d adds Jan Rejcha.<\/p>\n

Saalbach \/ Hinterglemm<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

Construction of comfortable 4* apartments will also commence in spring 2019\u00a0in the Saalbach\/Hinterglemm<\/a> region. They will include luxurious facilities, including 2\u00a0restaurants, fitness, spa, saunas and a\u00a0pool. Prices start at EUR 239,900 <\/strong>excluding VAT, and the earnings in the first year are expected to be 4.14 %. The great news is that a\u00a0connection to the Zell am See area is planned, creating one of the largest ski areas in the world.<\/p>\n

Zell am See<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n

This is a\u00a0new 4* apartment development near the center of Zell am See<\/a> with a\u00a0wide assortment of restaurants, bars and shops. The ground floor of the complex will feature a\u00a0restaurant and ski bar. Price range from EUR 322,000<\/strong> to EUR 812,000 EUR excluding VAT.
