Croatia will now be on ERM 2 exchange rate for at least 2 years. During this time, the Croatian government will not be able to devalue the Croatian kuna. Significant strengthening against European national currencies and the euro is expected. During the changeover period, for example, Slovakia strengthened against the euro by more than 20% between 2005 and 2009, and by more than 15% when compared to the Czech koruna.
Buy a real estate in Croatia now and earn money in the future thanks to increased rental prices. When the euro is introduced in Croatia (probably in 2023), further increase in prices of hotels, restaurants, goods and services for tourists is expected.
